Grant application notice
From September 1 to October 1, the Community Foundation will be accepting grant requests from non-profit organizations, schools and government entities.
Grants from the Community Foundation's unrestricted funds are available for open grants to be used for charitable organizations in Southwest Kansas. Also, grant funds are available for organizations that focus specifically on children's issues.
Once again, this grant period will be open from September 1st to October 1st. Please return the completed grant request by return mail to The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas, P.O. Box 1313, Dodge City, Kansas, 67801.
The Grant Application is designed to make it as easy as possible for you to complete. It may be saved to your computer and filled out electronically. Also, the application is designed to be photo copied. Unsigned or incomplete applications will not be accepted. If you have a question or concern, please call the office at 620-225-0959.

Grant guidelines
Attach a detailed budget for this project.
Nonprofit organizations need to attach the IRS determination letter.
Nonprofit organizations attach a copy of the most recent financial statement.
Past CFSK grant recipients should attach press releases or other public announcements of past grant awards.
Grant Applications are due no later than 10/01/2025.
Please do not staple, use paper clips. Do not put material in a presentation folder or binder. Applications must be photo-copy ready. Please DO NOT submit application by e-mail or fax.
Briefly describe how you will make a public announcement(s) or garner publicity for the award of the grant.
Submit report
Grantees must submit an annual report no later than September 1st. The report should include how funds were used, statistical information (e.g., how many people served), and, if possible, the results or outcomes of your project/program. Photographs are always appreciated.
